The Pearl Miniex Cancer Foundation

provides financial assistance to eligible cancer patients and caregivers in Louisiana to help ease some of the everyday financial burdens that can come with cancer.

If you or someone you care for is facing financial hardship related to cancer,

you may submit a request for assistance below.

Requests are reviewed based on eligibility, available funding,

and the type of assistance requested.

How to Request Support

Applications received 1st–15th
→ Reviewed and approved applications awarded 1st–5th of the following month

Applications received 16th–last day of month
→ Reviewed and approved applications awarded 15th–20th of the following month

How Assistance Is Paid

PMCF does not provide cash payments directly to applicants. Approved assistance is provided based on the type of need requested:

• Groceries: Gift card from a PMCF-approved grocery retailer
• Transportation: Gas card
• Utilities: Payment made directly to the utility provider
• Housing: Payment made directly to the landlord, mortgage company, or other approved housing provider

All assistance is subject to eligibility, documentation requirements, available funding, and program limits.

Previous assistance does not guarantee or prevent future assistance.
